In today’s blog post I’m going to share with you key secrets that I share with my clients who go through my speaker training program. This is so that you can really go out there have presence and smash your talk. If you are feeling a little bit flat, a little bit fearful or in your head, make sure you do this. It will get you grounded, moving and getting the blood pumping around your body and using your breath.

Lets get into it.

This is one of the exercises I share which is from working on stage as an actress. If you went to Melbourne Theatre Company you would probably see the actors doing this before they go on stage. So if you are feeling flat an not really in your body.

  1. Stand in a lunge position. We are going to swing our shoulder backwards 5 times and forwards 5 times.  (If you have any injuries, don’t do it)
  2. Shoulder swings – 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 5 forwards.
  3. Turn give me a shimmy shimmy shimmy, shake shake shake
  4. AND GO.See you on stage. Love Laura x
